Is it the human mind, believed to render us the master of the universe and the human being, dragged to the adventures of that mind, that has written, that is writing and that shall write the world history?

One can never be certain of the sincerity of the human mind, even though it has endorsed an ethics of existence that proposes universal unity. No matter how sophisticated it is, no matter which information it has been loaded with, no matter with which mission it sets off, no guarantee exists that the mind will not be responsible for yet another disaster in history...it is a poet, a politician; a philosopher or a theologian... a scientist or a dervish... both male and female... Discovers evil while in pursuit of good...yearns for beauty but chooses the ugly... preaches virtue, morality, and justice but brings about disasters that feed violence, fear, and distrust... causes disease and then searches for a cure, first starves and then feeds, deciding in the process who is to live and who is to die... builds civilizations and then tears them down... makes Rome and burns it down... creates the problem and then looks for the solution... asks the question and provides the answer... always the one, the human mind...

Can there be a world where the West embraces the East, women and men have a mutual understanding, thinking is not in conflict with ordinary life, and the scientific mind does not reject the intuitive one? Can there be a world in which the human mind exists in concert with nature of which it is a part and is not enslaved by its own discoveries? Or, as a requisite of nature's law, will the strong continue to be the right?
